I have dropped 2 dress sizes and the centimetres keep coming off!

My journey with Fit Body Fitness Training has been an amazing one.

I had gained a lot of weight, had no energy, feeling depressed about myself because of how I looked.

I have come to the end of my 6 week challenge for the second time, feeling so proud of myself in what I have achieved.

The challenge was not easy by any means, sometimes tough and sometimes I felt like I was going to “die”.

The challenge taught me so much about my body and healthy eating as well as exercising.

Since the first challenge in March 2014, I have dropped 2 dress sizes and the centimetres keep coming off!

A big thank you to Renae Kalalo for introducing me to FBFT and for all the encouragement of the team.

Greg and Christie without your constant support and pushing me to do my best I wouldn’t have been able to achieve what I have.

I still have away to go, but I know I can do it.

Thank you again and I will see you all at training.

As I never weighed in last week with illness for the last two weeks, I lost the battle but I’ll differently win the war (with myself) lol thanks greg and the trainers for there hard work, and big thanks and well done to everyone on this forum  everyone has won!

I’m very happy with the results…

It was a cavalcade of wild adventure, exotic thrills, and rock-eating giants. No wait, that was The Neverending Story.

The six week challenge felt at times like it would never end, but it was definitely worth sticking with it and I’m very happy with the results.

It was just what I needed to change some bad habits and learn some new good ones.

Before starting the challenge I felt like I was in a plateau, and my weight wouldn’t shift much more, the challenge shook up my diet and proved to me the will power I can have over saying no to all those extra sneaky treats.

I did find it tough at times, however the results from the six weeks are worth it. Thanks for the awesome support of my fellow team mates and trainers at Fit Body Fitness Training!

a happier and healthier me.

I’m so glad I did the 6 week challenge, it was just the thing I needed to kickstart my weight loss goals.

KylieSI had gained so much weight after having my third child who was born preemie with major complications after nearly loosing him twice in the 5.5 weeks he was in hospital, I swore I would put my children first and not worry about myself.

How wrong I could have been…this saw me getting more and more depressed and bigger and bigger. How can that be, being there for my kids??? Im not going to lie it (the 6 week challenge) was sometimes tough and testing for my self control but I managed and showed myself how strong my mind really is.

The 6 week challenge made me realise I dont need to eat till I’m stuffed, I dont need to eat chocolate everyday, I dont have to eat maccas when the kids get that treat, and that excerise can be fun…whaaat? and motivating….its true….

Would I recommend doing the 6 week challenge? For sure 100%…  my kids have “ME” back and so does my husband…a happier and healthier me.

Thankyou Greg, Christie, and Jaclyn and Fit Body Fitness Training team you are all truly motivating and inspirational. I Still have a bit to go but im getting there…Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for giving me the chance to do this…..

Hi there… I’m Tanya. Last year I decided I was tired of the same old thing at the gym and wanted to join a bootcamp group.

I came across Fitbody Fitness and saw that Greg had a 90 day challenge coming up.  I nervously

enquired but I wasn’t sure if it was right for me.  Greg was very helpful and encouraging from the get go so I decided to just go with it.  I remember my first session was a HIIT class…. Little did I know I had turned up to the most intense session of my life! I can tell you the days after that I was the sorest I had ever felt, EVER. All in a good way though!

 

From then on I never looked back…. after every session I feel amazing, and love that there is so many different classes I can attend throughout the week. I also love that everyone at training is just as encouraging and supportive.

Greg also teaches you a lot about nutrition and diet, (I thought I knew it all) and he’s always happy to look over your diet to see what is or isn’t working for you.

I cannot thank Greg enough for all the support and time he gives. You are not just a number- like at the gym…  he will text me if I haven’t turned up for awhile and asks where have I been or what’s going on? (Sometimes I need a little pushing!)

I am now onto my next challenge and can’t wait to see the end results!

Greg is not just an awesome trainer….. he’s the best!

“Shall keep it short and sweet! After losing a fair amount of weight through diet alone due to a complete disgust of any exercise; I found myself unfit and had reached a complete plateau..far away from my goal. I joined my local gym but rarely went as I was bored and puzzled and just couldn’t find the motivation within myself to start this entirely foreign concept of exercise! I saw Fit Body Fitness on a friend’s Facebook and saw they ran sessions right near my house so I decided to sign up for the 90 day Challenge. The group sessions were a fantastic way to get me into enjoying exercise as everyone pushes each other to succeed and it is also so much more fun! I quickly learned to love what I was doing and my fitness improved dramatically! From this I decided to take it to another level and sign up for Greg’s Body Sculpting program which only seriously ignited an absolute love and new-found obsession for reaching my ideal physique through heavy weights and hard work at the gym! Now that both of my programs are coming to an end, I have now decided to push myself that bit further. With Greg’s guidance and training, I am going to get myself to my ultimate goal of being at a competition standard by completing the Ultimate Physique Challenge! Bring it on! I am a completely different person to who I was only 3 months ago – I can only dream of where I will end up in another short 3 months! Cheers!”

“When I joined FBFT 5 months ago, my goal was to lose weight for my sister-in-laws wedding which was last weekend. It felt so good to be able to wear a dress I thought I would never be able to wear!!Although the scales have not moved a great deal, I have gone from a size 18 (this time last year) to size 14 and got to wear a strapless and short tight fitting dress. It felt great to feel wonderful and not self conscious. I got heaps of compliments – the best being my hubby raving about his hot wife!! Aside from the weight and size loss, I have many unexpected benefits too – I have gone from experiencing really bad back pain each day (requiring regular acupuncture and remedial massage) to zero back pain!!! My family now eat healthier, my kids see exercise as a normal and fun part of life, I get to play more with my family, I am toning up, I have so much more energy, my fitness has improved out of this world!, I can get rid of my stresses in those boxing sessions! and I have met many new and wonderful friends amongst a very encouraging and motiviating group of people. Now to set my new goals!! Thanks so much Greg – you have truly changed many aspects of my life. I could never imagine my life now without FBFT!!”

“12 weeks ago I embarked on a challenge that would see me change the way I think, feel and behave; a challenge that I wasn’t entirely sure I was ready for – but gave it a go anyway.

I first heard about Fitbody Fitness and Greg through a friend of mine and she invited me along to a session to see if I liked it. Needless to say every week I’m frantically scurrying from work to get to as many sessions as I can.  My main reason for joining in the beginning was to tone up and lose a little extra weight – the 12 week challenge I have just completed certainly showed the results and has left me keener than ever to continue now on my fitness journey.  I’m not overweight but the confidence in myself and my body image that I have gained over the past 12 weeks is priceless – I FEEL FANTASTIC!!

Greg certainly knows how to help his clients/friends get results – he knows your limits but just takes you that little further each and every time to achieve the goals you want!

Burpees, malcoms, donkeys, squats, lunges, sumo squats, stairs, kettle bells, weights, fast foot ladders, hurdles, ropes, boxing…the list goes on and on…but what an AMAZING variety of exercise FBFT training provides. I have been training with Greg Fellows for almost 30 weeks and have to say – I feel amazing – in fact – I feel the best I have ever been! Starting FBFT was just by chance, and I went along thinking that i would try it out and probably not continue – 6 months later and I’m raring to go every day and sometimes even twice a day. My fitness, my physique and my mental awareness has improved ten fold. Greg provided programs to suit my level of fitness and provided the training scaffolding to build a leaner, fitter and healthier me. He is continually devising new and improved sessions and online tracking systems so that clients become accountable for booking and committing to sessions, accountable for the food they eat and accountable for seeing results by entering measurement data. The classes he provides are varied and suitable for everyone all shapes, sizes and fitness levels. Joining FBFT has been the best ‘healthy’ decision I have made. IMG_9798“My name is Darlene Pukeroa. I am at the moment a stay at home mum of 6 children ranging from 16 years – 3 1/2 months old. I have been attending boot camp now since 5th September all up 21 sessions. There are several reasons why I joined bootcamp….1) strengthen my muscles and bones 2)improve my stamina 3)control my weight 4) increase my mental capabilities 5)alleviate stress and most importantly 6)be a great role model for my children.

 

I enjoy attending these classes…if I had been asked a year ago to attend, I would have declined the offer. Why? Because my life and circumstances were different. This has been one of the best decisions I have made for me….I don’t feel selfish when I’m at bootcamp, neither when I work out at home. A year ago I would not have considered to work out at home. My life circumstances have changed and so has my mind set. I attend every class I have committed myself to, I have met wonderful people and ask them why they are on this journey too…the team atmosphere is motivating, Greg Fellows is inspiring, gives great advice and pushes you when needed….finally what I am most happy and proud of…that I took the first step and started bootcamp….”

“My name is Kris Kirshaw. This year I decided it was my year to ‘shine’, try new things and step outside my comfort zone. My first target was to build my fitness- well after 10 weeks I’ve lost 44cm. My fitness is definitely getting better thanks to the bootcamps. I love being able to wear anything from my wardrobe without clothes being tight- (now I only have to worry if I should wear a belt or not…lol.) “My name is Cathy, and i am also sick of being over weight! I’ve always been the ‘larger build’ but since having my 2 children, i put on the baby weight and haven’t been able to really loose it. I’ve tried diets, but haven’t been able to stick to them. I’ve been doing boot camp at Fit body Fitness training for 3 weeks and i have lost 3kg. I have been so inspired to loose the weight with saturday morning’s boot camp, getting up early and walking around the lake and most of all eating healthy!!! “Hello Everyone…….. I’m Jaymie!! Being a mother of two (three if you include the husband lol), i was always on the go and never really took the time to make conscious decisions about my nutrition and regular exercise. I joined FBFT to learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and become leaner and fitter. My weight hasn’t really fluctuated over the years, i have kind of stayed in the low-mid 60?s (depending on nutrition), but I didn’t want to get to 30 (4 years away) and say to myself that i need to get my butt into gear and do some physical exercise so i don’t run out of breath every time i am outside with my kids lol. So for me, my main goal for this year is to be fitter, be leaner and learn the fundamentals to maintaing the best, healthiest lifestyle for me and my family. When i start something, i like to see it through until the end. I am not a quitter and i do push myself beyond my own limits at times, but i feel AMAZING after each session i complete at FBFT. And most of all when i know i have given it my all, I really feel and see the results of my hard work, and for me it is SUPER SATISFYING !!! I m looking forward to seeing you all at Bootcamp. “I have lost 22kgs since I started exercising exactly 6mths ago. My wake up call came at xmas time when I noticed I was missing out on photo memories with my children. It was at that time I knew I needed to do something about my weight & health. The most shocking reality check for me was when I saw my full body photo at one of my first training sessions. I honestly did not know i looked that fat. I didn’t see that same person when I looked in the mirror. I’ll be honest it’s been hard work but I have loved every minute of it. I have seen some huge improvements in my fitness level but the big improvements have come from within. I am strong inside & out. I still have a long way to go & another 20kgs to loose to get to my goal weight. Even though I still find exercising hard work every day, the difference now is I know I can do it now & I enjoy it. I’m so proud of changing my eating habits & identifying my mistakes when I slip up. But I am even more proud for getting straight back on the wagon if I do slip up & turning up as much as I have & putting in the effort as it’s really hard to exercise when you are overweight. Some days it’s still hard but I won’t give up. I realised today it’s more than just loosing 22kgs & 4 dress sizes. I lost my unhappiness. When I look in the mirror I see a beautiful woman, inside & out. I don’t hide from a camera anymore. I look good & feel good. All those years of feeling sick & tired are gone. I have more energy & I owe my life to this moment when I really became alive & started living. Thanks Greg & the FBFT team & all my bootcamp friends who motivate, inspire & support me everyday. The comradeship & sense of community is amazing.”

Saying yes was a huge step for me in itself as I get very nervous when trying new things and meeting new people, but WOW am I glad I went along!!! IMG_9850 copy“Hello there my name is John, I started recently training with Greg, now I was a little overweight but deep down I thought to myself I was relatively fit.

I got inspiration from a fellow worker who had started before me and I was seeing such quick results and his whole attitude was changing everyday, that’s when I said to myself I need to get me some of that.

I completed a 6 week challenge , lost 6 kgs and my fitness level went through the roof. I laugh to myself now because I can actually run which I struggled to do all my life.

I have tried the gym but it doesn’t compare, the friendly people you meet have been awesome , so friendly and very supportive, Greg is absolutely awesome at what he does, very approachable and supportive, it’s so awesome to part of the team. My wife now has joined and is loving as much as me, it’s just part of our life now.

Fit Body Fitness Rocks !!!!”
